A great Regency Romance book full of schemes, pretence and rebuffing each other until they are unable to stay away from each other’s company. Lady Althea’s pigs likes to escape from their abode looking for certain things to eat. Nathanial tries to keep away but is unable to do so.

Liberty Farm A Family Portrait is certainly an interesting read, at times I wanted to put the book away and other times I kept reading as I wanted to know what happens to the family. I liked that Brazil’s historical facts in the form of sports and political and interesting as they formed chronological order within the families history. I was able to empathise and imagine on what each member of the family felt and was going through as my childhood and young adulthood was very similar. In some points I almost went into childhood complex trauma emotions but I told myself it’s not my story and was able to read on. An ideal book for those wanting to understand what some families went through but certainly not a book for someone who shared a similar life with this family. I felt that there’s a slight cliffhanger as I wanted to know what happened to the family.

Emily Proudman a struggling actress finds herself retrenched, low on funds and things for her just isn’t working out too well for her. Scott a wealthy man, is in need of a housekeeper- au pair thinks that Emily who is loyal, compassionate and blindly trusting, will do well to go to mi-west coast France and housekeep and au pair for his wife Nina and six year old daughter who has some health issues and home schooled. While there, Emily, Nina and Aurelia seems to have good days and bad days and has made great progress. Emily begins to notice certain things that cause her to do a Google search and finds things that don’t seem to add up and begins to search more into the situation but is unable to do anything due to the confidentiality agreement that she signed. Nina has noticed that Emily is not acting her normal self and now ensures that Emily is unable to leave. The question is does Emily escape and live her life? A great book which is full of mystery, suspense and at times thrilling. A page turner until the end and keeps the reader guessing on what happens next for Emily. A book I recommend for those who like to read mystery and thrillers.

A little slow to start; scenery and plot is described so a reader can visually view approximately what they look like and what they are looking at and the area that they are in. As a reader I felt like I was right next to them while listening and understanding their conversation, connection, feelings and emotions. I personally was unable to understand the storyline. I do understand that the stories from a number of characters and somehow link together. I didn’t finish the book as I was unable to enjoy reading the book but I do recommend the book to those who appreciate the genre and can understand the plot.

The Time of Jacob’s Trouble, a young woman called Emma Grady woke up to find herself all alone in the city finding that many people have disappeared. This apocalyptic events are not just in her hometown but worldwide and she begins to find out what is happening. A very interesting story regarding about the end of the world which is the return of Christ who takes his people dead and alive with him; leaving those behind who have not accepted Christ into their lives. This story is about on what happens to the non-believers and how they survive and creating a safe haven for themselves. A book recommended for people who like to read and learn more about Jesus Christ and his next coming with a twisting theory on what might occur when Christians leave their families who don’t believe are left alone to survive and defend themselves. Definitely a book to read again and leave on the bookshelf to delve back into the theory.

As a reader of books, in a physical form or ebook I thought that I’d at least try the audio format of book. I found that an audiobook I can easily fall asleep while listening to and helps me to drift back to sleep and ideal for a sleepless and restless nights more equipped for times when I have ceaseless head chatter. The audio book is definitely easy to listen to while a passenger on a bus or working around the house. I have also found that I’m a series reader and begins at the first book to which I didn’t realise that this book is the final instalment. I have disappointed myself, as I found that I was missing certain information about the girls and how they magically connected they are when working together as a team and with their horses. I unfortunately found that I do prefer to read as with an audiobook I am unable to connect with the characters, the plot or envision the scenery or scenes as I can with a virtual book. Ideal book for any age who loves to read fantasy genre.

The Dark Continent is about a group of prisoners with death sentences and taken by researchers in a section of the government. The fifteen cons are being tested to have certain skills increased within their bodies. During a rough storm they escape taking a doctor with them. They manage to create murder and huge mayhem causing a blackout that went through majority of the United States. They storyline and plots are full of many twists and turns that it can be hard to put down. For me the book begins a little slow and can confuse a reader as we’re not given much information on what’s occurring or even has occurred. It was a few chapters in and I began to understand what the research was about, and then wanted to keep reading to see what the test subjects were deciding to do. I understood more of what was happening or happened during the introduction of Tom and Karl’s stories. As I read more chapters I viewed events that caused people to steal, pillage, banding together to fight which gave the storyline an impact of similarities to being apocalyptic middle and ending to the story. A cliffhanger which leaves a confusing ending and unanswered questions as I am left wondering on what happened to certain characters. I’m looking forward with baited breath in hope there will be another book with answers to unanswered questions. Great book for readers who love to read the genres of mystery & thrillers and sci fi & fantasy; this book is similar to the end of time or apocalyptic style storyline.

After the death of Archibald’s grandmother, he, his parents and sister move into his grandmother’s old quirky house. Finding an unusual items Archibald goes missing and wakes up in another world that’s set in the Middle Ages during a war and full of mystery and magic. Meanwhile his sister finds him missing and goes seeking answers then just as a sudden Archibald is returned home, ends in a slight cliffhanger. A great story for pre-early teenagers who love to read stories of the magic and supernatural world.

A great and interesting self-help book for adults to help give them back empowerment and to embrace and heal themselves from their childhood experiences with diagnosis or non-diagnosis as a child emerging into adulthood. As someone with adult ADHD diagnosis this book I found the book a little long winded, hard to read and understand. I found myself being lost and bored while being interested in something else. I was able to put the book back down and pick up later when my mind could refocus. It is a fantastic informative book which you can answer questions and receive the answers afterwards and being able to know what you need to change or alter and move forward. You are able to reprogram your brain and thinking, also includes a section to help with parenting skills.
