Scandalous Scions III

SCANDALOUS SCIONS BOX THREE

By Tracy Cooper-Posey

5 Stars +

Scandalous Scions Box three consists of three stories of books: Season of Denial,  Rules of Engagement, and Degree of Solitude. I love that the beginning of the books outlines the families and children, it was great as I then knew on where each person fits within the story. With the description of scenery, buildings, setting and definitely the characters as I was able to envision on where they are and appropriately how I would view on what the characters would look like and what they are wearing. I am amazed that the very strong young women were able to alter their chosen rogue men into something that fits themselves. All this without changing either characters still being left intact being just who they are, while finding the love, ambition and adventure that they all crave. It’s great to see that love endures all and able to thaw and melt hardened hearts. A recommended box set for those who indeed adores to read historical romantic fiction.

Facing Mighty Fears About Trying New Things by Dawn Huebner is a fantastic way to teach children, teenagers and adults how to embrace their fears and anxiety of trying new things. The new things could be anything from new foods, different coloured foods, different types of fabrics of clothing or textiles or textures. Could be getting on a bus, seeing a new doctor or therapist even a specialist, dentist even meeting new people and making friends. Everyone young and old needs some help and encouragement in trying new things.

A great children’s nonfiction book to which I recommend to children who may or may not have fears and anxiety can learn and understand on the steps of guidelines of improving new skills of dealing with their fear and anxiety regarding trying new things. Certainly a book that I will keep to read and encourage my autistic children to learn on how some children and adults cope to try new things. The book can be used as a self-help guide with parental and carer support notations, tools and a supplement Resource Page. I am encouraged help encourage and support my autistic boys with trying new things.

Charm Wars set in the land of Caldon, a world consisting mages,  political magical noblesse set to destroy the commoners who may be set on destroying the lives of the noblesse.

The plot and characters are well described giving readers an ability to visually the view and characters. The story pictures on what a magical life of mages could be like as the young adults learn how to perform their magic. Charms help them to be able to create their magic to seek out and steal other charms belonging to other nobelesse. A story full of  deceits and treacheries along with loveless marriage alliances among them. A recommended book for teenagers and young adults, I also recommend to anyone who likes to read the Sci Fi and Fantasy genre.

Queen of Frost is the first book in the Frost Trilogy by Aria Noble. Queen of Frost  is very well written and interesting book. The imagery description of Ember and Eli is written in a way which I can imagine on what they may look like. I was intrigued by the visual description of the mythical city of Frost. Ember befriends pale friendly male, she also notes how pale and friendly showing wide smiles.

Ember finds work to serve the Queen and maintain the wall as robotic service people mention that the walls are breaking. The walls separates the citizens of Frost from the monsters of the Wastes.#QueenofFrost #NetGalley

For an audiobook it’s a great listen. As I go to sleep listening to audiobooks which helps me to keep a calm mind from wool gathering, listening to negative thoughts and emotions including childhood traumatic memories which can lead to nightmares. So if I wake during the night I can hear the book and it’s very important for the times of sleeplessness. So listening to one audiobook is something that takes a number of nights until I understand and have knowledge of the entire story. Definitely a book for teenagers and young adults even readers who enjoy reading or listening to this genre. Certainly a bizarre story and plot which is full of twists and turns.

A Higher Calling to which I fully agree that it demonstrates to readers that God’s purpose and our dreams and missions can be united. By approaching life with an attitude of thanksgiving, while being joyful and embracing the many aspects and types of love.

A Higher Calling demonstrates a Christian long distance relationship whose life journey embraces their beginning to a budding romance towards their wedding. The story focuses on their thoughts, stories of their up and down long distance relationship which outlines the steps they had taken to ride the storm with their faith, love and trust for God. Through their ups and downs they both tried to put God as head of their relationship to which they shared their difficulties of doing so. They both managed to help each other along with the inspirational moments and help from family and friends to adhere to their own and shared

Dreams. To keep themselves in harmony and walking side by side in togetherness with God they made personal sacrifices to ensure their dreams were completed.

Just reading this memoir has inspired me to find my own dream and goals.

A Higher Calling is a fantastic inspirational read, written by a married Christian couple I certainly recommend for anyone to read.

A well written romance novel ideal to escape the rat race and just delve into reading a story of a couple growing closer together. A great emotional way to reconnect with a old love who may still love each other. The couple travelling around New Zealand finding that they are reconnecting with each other. This story certainly shows another way couples to reconnect and strengthen their struggling relationship before making the next step called separation or divorce. The book had funny laugh out loud moments to which I called out what they should do or shouldn’t do and then was interesting to see what they actually did. Ideal book for those who love to read romance.
